Feedback - Miss Spencer

You have made a good start to your work Ashleigh, all three analysis show an understanding of the genre they belong to and you have noticed and commented on interesting elements from the films. However I would like to see a little more detail in your work. At the moment I would put your work at a level 2 and in order to improve you could:

• Re-read your work and try to make it a little more chatty in style, I think sometimes you are trying to make it sound academic and are using unsuitable words! Especially on the Briget Jones one (e.g. specter.)  
• Remember DISTINCT, Don't Ignore,  Setting, Technical code, Iconography, Narrative, Characterisation, Themes. I think you could go through your analysis and boos it by using this framework.
• Make sure you have covered something from each of these areas.
• Make use of the spell check on Blogger, and check for capital letters etc, the examiner takes all of this into account.
• Make all of your analysis more like the Woman in Black one, with lots of screen shots.
