This group are often portrayed as weak and vulnerable, for example in the conjuring and Annabelle the young women are represented as typical screamish girls, who are naive. We done seem them standing for there own ground and a lot of the defeated by whatever monster or Gaul that is harassing them. In our film we wanted to show a true representation of how British teenagers live, for example, we set the film in a typical teenage girls bedroom, to escape from the typical stereotype of an all pink floral room filled with pop corn and cushions. We used a more realistic set of how you would expect an everyday normal teenager to live. By doing this we are giving the audience more a realistic view on the story line. The characters again also follow the same representative of not your average stereotype. We have normal everyday girls who are not well know Hollywood actresses and models to make are target audience of teenage girls feel more comfortable and feel like they can relate more to the actors. make up also had a great impact their was no heavy stage make up we made it natural as possible this also made the girls have a vulnerable look to them. costume we told our actors to bring their own wear of clothes so they were comfortable and audience can see the clear personalities of the characters. We told them to wear comfy clothes as any other teenager would do at a sleepover instead of clingy revealing clothes that you would expect of Hollywood productions. These thoughts were all took in place, so we could represent the style of British realism actuality not some american stereotype of a screaming girl. This american type has as negative connotations and audiences may be damaged by this or associate these traits with young women. we tried a more positive effect so the young women can connect to the characters and feel more involved in the movie instead of having them sit back and watch a false character with no real intentions. I feel this will give women around Britain a motive to watch our movie Arrebella and see the side we want to represent which a powerful women
